Super Bowl LII

The big game is almost here! Super Bowl Sunday is always one of my favorite days of the year. With watch parties and all of the delicious food that is consumed, it can be hard to stay on track with healthy eating. Here are a few quick ways to stay healthy around Super Bowl Sunday:

1. With kickoff not being until after 6:00pm on Sunday, there is plenty of time before the game to make the most out of your day. If the weather is nice, go for a nice Sunday walk! If the weather in your area is not ideal for a walk outside, try to stay active indoors by walking inside of a local mall, or catching up on housework. Basically, anything active will not only give you a chance to exercise but will be a great way to make the anticipation of the game go by a little bit faster.

2. The Monday after the Super Bowl can be especially hard. With the game not ending until late, you may be going to bed later than normal for a Sunday night. If you find yourself dragging to work on Monday due to lack of sleep, there are a few things that you can do! Check out this article for more.

3. Buffalo chicken dip might be my favorite Super Bowl food. Unfortunately, the traditional dip can be a bit heavy. If you’re looking to lighten up this food for a Super Bowl party, try checking out this recipe!

4. In addition to lighter buffalo chicken dip, there are some other healthy game day foods that are approved for any Super Bowl party! Check out this link for more!

I hope that you have a great Super Bowl Sunday! Hopefully, some of these tips will allow you to have an even more enjoyable day.

Until next time,

P.S. Fly Eagles Fly!
